Location

The restaurant at the Bastione is a dream come true, on the shores of Lake Garda, a small jewel of Trentino – Alto Adige, which in all respects is a point of reference for the city of Riva del Garda. A versatile place that ranges from breakfast to after-dinner, with a cuisine that is attentive to the Trentino area and the Mediterranean tradition.
The restaurant is located next to a Venetian keep, dating back to the early 1500s on an area previously undeveloped, with the aim of defensive bulwark to protect the city.
In the 1950s a single-seater chairlift was created, which led directly from the town to the side of the Bastion. It was then decommissioned in the early 1980s.
In recent years, the Bastion could only be reached via a panoramic pedestrian path immersed in the woods, with a journey time of approximately 20 minutes. While today, the new alternative mobility proposal, i.e. the inclined lift, will guarantee accessibility in about 3 minutes of travel, with a panoramic view of the Upper Garda area, important for the tourist context of the area and the whole Garda community .
